On 2 August SA rock veterans The Narrow and several special guests will host a special show to showcase their influences over the years. The Black Cat Bones’ Kobus de Kock Jnr will be one of the special musical guests at The Narrow’s special Multiverse show. We had a brief chat with De Kock ahead of the show:

What can fans expect from Multiverse on 2 August 2019?

They can expect a wonderful array of The Narrows classics as well as a bunch of songs that inspired the boys over the years. All sans Hanu of course (sadly). But there will be some great guest artists to make up for that.

You’ll also be featuring music from artists who have influenced you and The Narrow in the show. How did you decide which songs/artists to include?

The songs were picked by the original band members themselves. As guest-vocalists we had some say, but mostly they picked the songs.

How have you been preparing for this event?

Rehearsing as much as we can, between interviews, video shout-outs and the like.

The event will also feature a number of special guests. How does it feel to be invited  as special guest to perform with The Narrow?

I grew up with the Narrow so it was an unbelievable honour to be contacted by the guys. I’m thrilled.
