Mieliepop is less than a week away! To tide you over, have a look at our quick interview with Runaway Nuns ahead of the festival.

This March, you’ll be performing at Mieliepop. What can festivalgoers expect from your set?

A high energy garage punk set with psychedelic undertones.

Do you have any personal expectations for the festival?

We expect to have our minds blown.

How does the band usually prepare for live shows?

Smoke twaks, talk kak.

In 2017, your music gained a lot of traction. What lies in store for 2018?

We are currently working on our first full length album, which is the main focus right now.
With the big boss/manager man/ producer/ engineer extraordinaire Mr Lauren Fischer.
Which we are very excited about. It’s going to be absolute fire, nothing but hits, absolute bangers, bangers and mash.
So look out for that.
We also have a bunch of really cool shows coming up so follow us on the social media things to stay up to date with that.  Plus a tour with some of the best bands around. Retro Sizzle, Julia Robert and  The dudes with good hair, The Valley.
Upcoming shows:
18-24 March: Cabin Fever tour.
